Permitted use
You may request contact lists for a clear, legitimate business, recruiting, research, partnership, or networking purpose when your use complies with applicable privacy, marketing, employment, and communications laws.
Prohibited use
- Spam, deceptive outreach, harassment, threats, discrimination, or attempts to bypass an opt-out or suppression request.
- Requests involving children, highly sensitive personal data, or targeting based on protected traits for unlawful purposes.
- Fraud, impersonation, phishing, credential theft, malware, or other illegal or harmful conduct.
- Reselling delivered data as a standalone database or sharing it with parties that lack a lawful purpose.
- Probing, disrupting, reverse engineering, or bypassing security, rate limits, access controls, or billing controls.
- Using ContactYard as a scraping service or asking it to automate extraction from third-party lead providers.
Responsible handling
Limit access to people who need the data, keep it secure, verify that your outreach channel is permitted, apply suppression lists, honor opt-outs promptly, and delete records when they are no longer needed.
Enforcement
We may review potentially abusive activity and suspend or close accounts when reasonably necessary to protect people, the service, payment systems, or legal compliance. Serious illegal activity may be reported where required.
