Data supply and licensing
ContactYard obtains business contact information through licensed business-data providers and makes selected records available to customers under a limited-use license. Supplier names and commercial terms are confidential, but our public notices describe the source categories, record categories, purposes, and rights that matter to individuals. ContactYard does not claim ownership of a person's identity or of facts about that person.
Quality and corrections
Business information changes frequently and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. ContactYard does not guarantee that every record is current. Customers must verify information before relying on it. Individuals can request correction, deletion, or suppression through Privacy Choices.
Technical and organizational measures
- Authenticated access and row-level controls for customer account records.
- Server-side handling of supplier, payment, and administrative secrets.
- Transport encryption and managed infrastructure encryption where supported by our hosting providers.
- Private storage for customer exports and time-limited access paths where used.
- Verified payment webhooks, audit records, input validation, and rate or abuse controls.
- Access limited to people and systems that need it for an authorized purpose.
These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. Customers must secure downloaded exports and their own systems.
Certifications and customer reviews
ContactYard does not represent that it is certified under SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or another assurance framework unless a current public statement expressly says so. The service is not intended to receive protected health information, payment-card data outside hosted checkout, government identity numbers, or other sensitive regulated data. Customers should not upload or use such data in the service.
Incident reporting
Report a suspected vulnerability or security incident privately to legal@contactyard.com. Include enough detail to reproduce the issue, but do not access another person's account, download unnecessary data, disrupt the service, or publicly disclose an unresolved issue. We will investigate credible reports and provide legally required notices after a confirmed breach.
